Fairy tales often have a deeper meaning. I used to think of this one as just another funny little story. I have now discovered that this tale demonstrates that there are no small upsets. Every disturbance of my peace of mind, however small, equally disturbs my inner peace. That is because we are all children of God. Our Father is the ruler of the whole universe. Therefore we are all princes and princesses. And anything that is not in agreement with that, upsets us.
